U14 team win the Highland League Division 1

To the U 14 team who have won the Junior Highland League Division 1! A fantastic result!! Well done Matthew Douglas, Jamie Riddick, Matthew Stephen, Rob Bichan, Lily Carmichael and Charlie McCann.

Confirmation of the win followed a fantastic afternoon of tennis for the U14 team on Sunday in their last fixture against Rothiemurchus. The fixture had to be switched to be played at Forres to avoid the wet weather in Aviemore. There was fantastic sportsmanship by all and outstanding tennis played on court. A very close match with Forres just pipping Rothiemurchus to the win by 7 sets to 6.
A huge ‘WELL DONE’ to the team, only one loss this season. Thank you Matthew D, Jamie, Matthew S, Rob , Lily and Charlie ( unfortunately not in the photo) for your commitment to play all the matches in what has seemed a long league season. You deserve the league title this year!
